2009 Cohworn Viognier

> Lookup on Cellar Tracker

What a great day.

The sun is finally out. Spring is "sprunging" [ED: to Sprung - in the process]  and I can't play golf today.

What does this have to do with wine?
If i can't play golf on a spring day, I will sit on the back porch, eat cheese and drink wine, of course.

I chose a 2009 Cowhorn Viognier from my cellar today and was delighted.

A very soft nose, fruit - apple to be sure, a touch of dried grass, but the taste that matched that fruit with the layers of fruit, then a balance of acidity to mingle and then clear the palate was outstanding. This is suddenly a favorite!

Cost: I am sorry to say it is sold out according to their website, but you should be able to find it at Ray's food place throughout the valley - I'll be looking for more for sure.
