2010 Deer Creek Vineyards Pinot Gris

> Lookup on Cellar Tracker

This Pinot Gris is from Deer Creek Vineyards in the Illinois Valley, a sub appellation of the Rogue Valley.  The color is a light golden straw it is very clear and translucent, really lovely in the glass.  The nose is of fresh fruit, acidic crispness with honey dew melon, granny smith Apple and citrus.  The palate shows a sweet fresh tropical fruit, with a really superb balance of acidity to sweetness.  This is a real sipper  by itself or with lighter fare, a good benchmark for a fine Pinot Gris.
