2009 Helioterra Pinot Noir

> Lookup on Cellar Tracker

This is a very young Pinot, let it air in the glass or decant to improve the nose before trying.  It's a light garnet colored red, very clear and obviously heavily filtered.  The nose once it's had a breath is cherry, raspberry, with mineral notes and tilled earth.  The taste is a raspberry fruit forward with both sweet and acidic layers.  There is a firm tannin on the middle and finish but overall a very light bodied and refreshing sip. It went great with our 38 Central Lunch today.

Score: 88
Cost: $ 24
Wine Type: Pinot Noir, Oregon, Willamette Valley
