2008 Pebblestone Merlot

> Lookup on Cellar Tracker

This merlot has the dark color of your everyday merlot, but that's where the similarity ends, This is not your standard merlot, it has a woody, spicy nose of cedar, pencil shavings with a hint of clove.

The dark rich fruit explodes on the palette with a full bodied rush of a chewy wine with dark cherry and loganberry, with a cranberry lingering tannic finish. This wine stands alone, will be great with red meat, you probably canít overwhelm this merlot, but certainly let it breathe, that makes a world of difference with this wine.

Score: 88
Cost: $ 20
Wine Type: Merlot, Southern Oregon, Rogue Valley, Bear Creek
