Thursday, February 28, 20082005 Argyle Brut Rose (Pinot Noir)
Nose is light cherry and very nice. The tasting is fruity to start with a dry finish. I like it let’s say 90.

Thursday, February 28, 20082002 Griffin Creek Cabernet Sauvignon
A dark ruby and purple color, the nose is acidic with a herbal trace, slight blackberry and cherry. The body is fine with a light character, a tart acidic fruit with mild tannins and long finish. This is a fairly simple wine, it lacks the complexity of a finer cabernet but it quite drinkable and well recieved. One pair very nicely with Lamb or Beef on the rare side.

Thursday, February 28, 20082006 Kendall-Jackson Vitners Reserve
Complex layering, Straw colored with melon and pear fruity flavor not over powering. Long stong finish. The Nose promises fruit but with enough acid to layer the flavors well.

Thursday, February 28, 20082004 Marchesi de'Frescobaldi Nipozzano Riserva Chianti Rufina
Good solid Chianti nose you can smell the sangiovese grapes, begs to be sipped. Tart with crisp long finish. Tasting black cherrys, clenses the palate wonderful with food. Pasta, and meat.
Second Tasting Review:
The wine is a dark burgandy color, you can’t see through it. The nose is lighter than the color, crisp and light with cherry and flowers. The taste and body run to full, Tart and acidic up front with a fruity and tannin filled long finish which is perhaps a touch too tart. Very refreshing best with rich foods and heavy sauces. I think this will be better about 2010

Tuesday, February 26, 20082006 Argyle Willamette Valley Riesling
Color is light gold, appears light and fine. The nose is complex citric lemon, grapeffruit and melon. Taste is sweet and fruit filled up front then suddenly into a dry long acidic finish. A French type Reisling rather than German. The body is light and refreshing, Paula enjoyed this wine.
