Sunday, August 14, 20112009 Kramer Vineyards Müller-Thurgau
This hybrid of Riesling and Chasselas de Courtillier has fallen out of favor in most wine growing areas of the world but parts of Oregon and Washington still have a few vines. At the small Kramer Vineyards they produce a good quality Muller. The nose is Riesling like, but with a herbal overtones, melon and apple. This straw colored wine has a sweet fruit filled front end with an acidic finish not overly complex but refreshing.

Cost: $ 9
