2006 Hillcrest Vineyards Right Bank

> Lookup on Cellar Tracker

The wine we had with our wonderful lunch today at 38 Central was this right bank blend, (Merlot and Cabernet Franc), from Oregon's oldest winery, a dark ruby wine, it looks dense and opaque but very refined.  The nose is excellent with black fruit, chocolate, leather and cedar.  The mouth feel is very round and full bodied, a sweet fruit of black cheery, intricate structure with a supple tannin finish.  Our thanks to David at 38 for keeping new stuff on our wine tasting platter each week.
