2008 Weisinger’s of Ashland Merlot

> Lookup on Cellar Tracker

This latest Merlot from this Ashland producer is dark and inky.  The nose of this wine is black cherry, olive, vanilla and slight black pepper. The mouth feel is full bodied with a fruit forward palate, acidic middle and a very firm tannic finish.  Give this a couple more years for the tannin to relax.  It’s very enjoyable now with food and on its own for the right palate.
